The reading group will continue its sessions next week on Tuesday, 14th of January as usual at 19h. In this third and last segment of this reading seminar we will address the question of the "desire of the analyst." The desire of the analyst is the driving force of the psychoanalytic treatment. But what does the analyst desire? And, in this sense, how does this desire direct the psychoanalytic treatment? Together we will try to understand what do analysts do with their being and why it is so important to preserve desire on the level of the "lack-of-being."
